Abstract (English)

Through this interpretative commentary, the author approaches, on an ontological basis, the suspended truth of Nantel's photographed subjects – removed from their urban context and forming a homogeneous series – in order to insist on their marginal identity and their potential relationships with the spectator-voyeur. Text in French and English.

Commentaire interprétatif par lequel l’auteure approche ontologiquement la vérité en suspension des sujets photographiés par Nantel – sortis de leur contexte urbain et formant série homogène – pour insister sur leur identité marginale et sur les relations que le spectateur-voyeur peut entretenir avec ces sujets.
