Abstract (English)

Mahon suggests Takahashi’s installation “Injurious Inertia” is a hand-made readymade filled with ironic contradictions. His interpretation of the piece is accompanied by descriptions of two previous installations by the Japanese-born artist. Emphasis is placed on the multiple meanings in the work. Biographical notes.
