Abstract (English)

Catalogue to accompany an exhibition of collaborative video works by Glasgow-based artists Smith and Stewart, curated by Thériault. In her descriptive analysis of the artists’ work, Thériault suggests the artists explore the limits of perception, sense, body and culture through the use of mirror structures and “Beckettian” space. Other topics discussed include the intimacy of the communicative and the relational, and relations between passivity and resistance.
