Abstract (English)

Catalogue documenting an exhibition that brought together twelve international painters whose figurative works (predominantly landscapes) depict a “mediated” artificial reality. Emphasis is placed on the use of colours and devices such as sampling and patterns, as well as references to popular culture, cinema and kitsch. Includes individual texts on each artist, with colour reproductions. Bio-bibliographical notes on artists.
