Abstract (English)

Published on the occasion of La Filature’s official opening, this catalogue accompanied a two-part event focusing on the role of language in recent artistic practices. The activities comprised exhibitions, residencies, conferences and site-specific interventions. Brief descriptions of the works are provided here, with biographical notes on the artists, a map locating the works, and a schedule of events. Texts in English and French.

Catalogue d’un événement en deux volets sur l’apport de la langue dans les pratiques artistiques actuelles, organisé à l’occasion de l’ouverture officielle du projet La Filature. Au programme : expositions, résidences d’artistes, conférences et interventions in situ. Comprend de brèves descriptions des œuvres accompagnées de notices biographiques des artistes, une carte de localisation des projets et un horaire de l’événement. Textes en français et en anglais.
