Abstract (English)

Catalogue to accompany an exhibition dedicated to the early generations of women photographers in the Netherlands, which was presented as part of the “Mois de la photo à Montréal.” In her essay, curator Bureau traces the career of five artists by situating their photo-documentary practice within the socio-political and cultural context of the time.
