Harris situates radical art history within socio-political contexts, and examines key texts by well known critics, including A. Boime, T.J. Clark, L. Mulvey, F. Orton and G. Pollock. His analysis of art historical methods and institutional structures focuses on the role of Marxist, feminist and psychoanalytic theories.
