Abstract (English)

For this catalogue from an exhibition of his drawings, Urquhart comments on specific pieces in the show, their genesis, and the long-standing influence of the Old Masters (particularly Ingres). Reviewing the drawings on view, Heath concludes that Urquhart mastered his technique early, but continues to invent new ways of expressing exterior/interior worlds. List of works.
