Abstract (English)

This exhibition catalogue focuses on the multidisciplinary aspect of David’s art practice (painting, sculpture, drawing, photography). In an interview with Godmer, the artist discusses the influence of drawing in his production and how each project has the potential to shift from one discipline to another. He then examines how we experience and perceive an art work according to our own relationship to everyday objects. Texts in French and English. Bio-bibliography. List of works.

Ce catalogue d'exposition met en évidence l’aspect multidisciplinaire de la pratique de David (peinture, sculpture, dessin, photographie). En entrevue avec Godmer, l’artiste élabore notamment sur l’influence du dessin sur toute sa production et sur le glissement possible d'un projet d'une discipline vers une autre. Il entame une réflexion sur l'expérience et la perception d'une œuvre en fonction de notre rapport avec l'objet quotidien. Textes en français et en anglais. Biobibliographie. Liste des oeuvres.
