Abstract (English)

Calcutt comments on the dialogue between the spatial and temporal in Heyer’s works, interpreted from a Heideggerian perspective. The work's low-level of differentiation, he claims, distils the essence of building to the point of inutility, leaving only the notion of dwelling, which affords the contemplation of space. Bark and Heyer discuss the rhythm of the installation, which impels movement and reflection on energy, flux, and the sense of growth engendered by the works’ transitional statuses between the abstract and the concrete.
