Abstract (English)

Wight introduces the work of Anghik Ruben and gives a brief synopsis of the Inuit artist’s life and work. Anghik Ruben also comments on his personal history, particularly his negative experience in the residential school system. The creative force of art is also discussed. Includes brief statements by the artist in response to the 40 works in the exhibition (excerpts from interviews). Biographical notes. Bibliography 1 p. 7 bibl. ref.
