Abstract (English)

Sawchyn focuses on the artists' interests in land use and the settlement of the Canadian wilderness. Through descriptive analyses, the curator situates Jeannotte's work in relation to the artist's family homestead, and draws attention to the intersections of technology/land in McConnell's paintings/assemblages. Includes list of works.
