Abstract (English)

Dempsey and Millan's handbook on the lesbian wilderness of North America provides detailed information on flora and fauna (drawn from natural history and biology), survival skills (Shelter, Keeping Wet, Fire, Lesbian Signals, Orientation, etc.), as well as guidance on becoming a Lesbian Ranger. By revealing the "variation and deviation" that exists within nature, the authors set out to inspire and educate the reader in order to sustain the "lesbian ecosystem."
