Abstract (English)

In his analysis of the economy of object-art in late capitalist culture, Grenville posits that the 24 artists presented in the exhibition are united by their desire to explore contemporary urban culture through an analysis of that culture's objects. The point of this inquiry is to place the viewer in a position "to address the role of the object in the construction of the Social".
