Abstract (English)

"In Barbara Hunt's exhibition she explores relationships between death, mourning and gender. Mourning is a monument ti both the grieving process and to the marginal activities of our daily lives. Hunt utilizes fabric and fibre-based materials to explore connections between mourning rituals and the feminine through traditional women's work." -- page 1.
