Abstract (English)

Videotapes by Rhonda Abrams, Randy & Berenicci, Tony Judge, the Flying Lizards, Tanya Mars and Marielle Nitoslawska are interpreted as means of revealing theatrical illusion and as interpretations of performance activity. A brief history of the interaction between video and theatre is outlined, and a short synopsis of each tape provided.
