Abstract (English)

A broadsheet on the development of Gladwell's innovative approach to furniture-making that combines both the fine art and the craft traditions. Moving away from initially, purely formal explorations in wood, his adoption of cardboard as his new building material has resulted in an appropriation of architectonic and engineering motifs, at the same time challenging the notion of permanence in this medium. Biographical notes. 4 bibl. ref.
