Abstract (English)

" Much lauded Saskatchewan painter David Thauberger, CM, SOM, RCA, is well known for his work focused on Saskatchewan communities and their vernacular architecture. In the 1990s he was commissioned by a collector and former Prince George resident to produce a series of paintings of historic buildings in and around Prince George. This series, known as The Prince George Paintings, has been borrowed to mark the occasion of Prince George's 100th anniversary. " -- Editor's website.
