Abstract (English)

"This green-inflected chapbook assembles details of photographs and paintings, some representational, some abstract, others textural. Flipping from one page to the next as the chap’s sheets modulate in size and shape, this work offers a study of green’s promiscuous participation in whatever comer knocks at its door. Its hero, Green personifies and performs Emerson’s claim in his essay, “Spiritual Law”: “What attracts my attention shall have it, as I will go to the man who knocks at my door, whilst a thousand persons, as worthy, go by it, to whom I give no regard.” Read to follow one of Green’s latest extravagant, extra-vagrant exploits." -- Publisher's website.
