Abstract (English)

Stockholder's painting-installations are designed in reaction to specific spaces and are, according to Holmes "governed by the process of exposing indigenous ghosts". A discussion of three pieces touches on various themes, such as the perception of boundaries, the viewer's multi-leveled experience of disjointed construction and the final return of these temporary pieces into the realm of imagination and memory. The artist comments on the personal concerns behind the piece of this exhibition. Biographical notes.
