Abstract (English)

"The German philosopher Martin Heidegger (1889-1976) uses the expression 'Dasein' to refer to the experience of being that is particular to human beings. For many of us who make art, e need to enter a quiet place in order to create. Personally, I am unable to accomplish anything unless I can locate the particular place in my mind where I can simply ne still. 'Dasein', the title of the Visual Arts Graduating Student Exhibition, alludes to this state." -- p. [4].
