Abstract (English)

"This small exhibition of works by Nova Scotian photographer Paul Doucette has been selected as part of our 50th Anniversary celebratory programming. Doucette’s elegant black and white prints draw attention to architectural features of the Dalhousie campus that many of us pass by daily with hardly a glance. Through the subtle use of light, close-ups and cropping, Doucette creates formally beautiful images that encourage us to contemplate familiar views as if for the first time." -- Publisher's website.
