Abstract (English)

"Life Stories brings together confessional video portraits documenting the stories of unusual individuals. Conveying personal events or conditions, these are the results of matter-of-fact circumstances shaped by personal pain: A woman married to the Berlin Wall, Israeli soldiers and prostitutes at nightclubs, and a man whose story is absurdly hijacked by an artist. Works by Tova Mozard, Maayan Amir and Ruti Sela, and Meiro Koizumi culminate in an exhibition that capitalizes on exhibitionism, voyeurism, and the power of the camera." -- Publisher's website.
