Abstract (English)

"This new work, Diaspora, explores the individual’s relationship with history, stories of what has come before, and the complicated connection between person and place. Diaspora takes the form of an interactive guided walk, fabricated from the observations and research of the artist during a previous visit to Saint John. Diaspora is a historically minded tour of the south end of Saint John, which promises to generate new connections and observations of familiar territory for its participants." -- Publisher's website.
