Abstract (English)

"A response to Disney movies like A Bug’s Life, the film is a modern-day fable about a bug society that expresses satirical ideas about success and individualism within a fantasy world. Extending outward from the screen space of the film, the installation (made in collaboration with Laura McCoy) moves through the entire building, toying with the notions of hype and publicity that are a part of going to see a movie. Both playful and irreverent, the exhibition embodies the humorous DIY ethos at the heart of Life of a Craphead’s artistic practice." -- Publisher's website
