Abstract (English)

Documenting two installations designed specifically for their exhibition space, the catalogue groups photographs of the artist's work-in-progress with a selection of their critical texts; Buren comments on the artwork's dependance to the surrounding architecture while LeWitt examines on the processes in conceptual art. Illustrated by large fold-out plates of the two completed works.

Résumé

Documentant deux installations conçues spécifiquement pour leur espace d'exposition, sont regroupées des photographies illustrant le travail en cours et des textes critiques de Buren et LeWitt. Le premier y commente la dépendance de l'oeuvre d'art envers l'architecture environnante tandis que le second examine les procédés de l'art conceptuel. Complété par de grandes planches en couleur des deux oeuvres complétées.
