Abstract (English)

" Landschaft and Hudson are both works conceived aboard a train, looking out into the woods, and they are complementary because each one embodies, in my view, different modes or conceptual accents of painting. Landschaft, emerges from a gaze meditated by memory and culture. Although looking into a forest is not a gaze into the past, but rather to a mythical time. Hudson, on the other hand, emerges from the sensorial, from what is seen literally. " -- Page 113 of book.
