Abstract (English)

" Just after we had started working on this book in the Autumn of 2007, we came accross a newspaper article about record covers or rather, to be precise, the texts on the back of record covers. Liner Notes - an incedental format or commentating the production of music and thereby one's work. The book was going to be about the making of books. […] But it was the Liner Notes which we found the most exciting as a text genre. " -- Book cover.
