Abstract (English)"Cougar For a Year was a durational performance in which artist Dayna McLeod wore animal print for every moment of every day for one year to challenge the stereotype of the 'cougar', a woman over 40 who aggressively demonstrates her sexuality. On the last day of this piece, McLeod gave away her animal print wardrobe in a collaborative photo booth project with artists Nikol Mikus and Alyson Wishnousky at La Centrale Galerie Powerhouse in Montreal. Members of the public were offered items of clothing in exchange for their image dressed in whatever items they wished to take. Mikus and Wishnousky took 200 portraits during this photo booth installation. This deck is a selection." -- Title card of document
