Abstract (English)

Friis-Hansen discusses the films, videos, and installations of Snow and Geuer, which, she claims, examine how technology influences perception. Referring to the body, death, and the machine, Randolph asserts that art must embody the difference between the cultural and the technological realm. Includes biographical notes, annotated catalogue entries, an interview with the artists and a filmography. 32 bibl. ref.
