Abstract (English)

Through his discussion of recent tableau photography by three Dutch artists, Baturin locates the work at the forefront of a cultural movement in photo-based art that has been influential throughout Europe for several years; concepts of contemporary cultural iconography, ritual, religion, Greek sculpture and ecology are evoked.
