Abstract (English)

Dompierre provides a descriptive analysis of the work - a moveable construction composed of scale-models of roads, bridges and industrial and recreational sites, while Fleming contextualizes it in a conceptual and plastic tradition that encompasses Duchamp, Swift, and Cindy Sherman and links it with Canadian artists Jeff Wall and Eleanor Bond. 5 bibl. ref.
