Abstract (English)

Documentation, through photographs and texts, of the casting, sculptural portraiture and public activity of these collaborative artists over 12 years (1979-1991). Zeitlin furnishes a historic-profile of the artists and their work; Ventura's now subjective analysis discusses the social role this work has played in terms of representing real individuals and communities; and Goldstein contextualizes the artists in the physical geography and among the personalities of the neighbourhood.
