Abstract (English)

In a survey of work made from 1984 to 1989, Loock discusses the works' dual relation to the readymade and to the body. Schampers treats Gober's departure from Duchamp and minimalism with respect to personal and symbolic meaning. Fairbrother recalls a museum installation that provoked a hostile response. Biographical notes. 54 bibl. ref.
