Abstract (English)

Saskatoon portraitist Hauser's work is compared to that of Alex Colville, Don Hall, Joe Fafard and Lynn Donoghue in a brief essay by the curator. Issues of realism, subject/artist relationship and serial narrative are also briefly touched on. Text is accompanied by reproductions, a short artist's statement and biographical notes.
