Abstract (English)

Rainer's autobiographical recollections shed insight on the artist's development. The monograph records various dance and multi-media performances and filmworks (1961-1973) through retrospective texts by the artist detailing the events, supplemented by reproduced programme notes, published texts, reviews, journal excerpts, personal notes, diagrams, and photographs. Includes a chronology of the artist's work.
