Abstract (English)

On the occasion of the 5th anniversary of Artware, Galloway presents the premise and discusses the effects of this "art and electronics" event comprised of 14 presentations shown in five cities, in conjunction with a commercial fair. Klotz comments on the manner in which technology has affected the arts, the art market and art forums referencing the "new media". Includes a descriptive analysis of the work of 17 artists and a catalogue raisonné of all participants (1985-1990). Biographical notes.
