Abstract (English)

In a statement accompanying the 1979 Baker Lake print collection, Iksiraq reflects on the changing way of life of the Inuit peoples and the consequences of the fire which destroyed the Sanavik Cooperative in 1977.

Résumé

Dans un texte qui accompagne la collection d'estampes de Baker Lake pour 1979, Iksiraq considère le mode de vie en mutation des peuples inuit et les conséquences de l'incendie qui détruisit les installations de la Coopérative Sanavik en 1977.
