Abstract (English)

Hall's "Coil" and its installation in various outdoor sites in Canada and Japan are seen as a reclaiming of a ritualistic and respectful relationship with nature and a reassertion of the importance of local culture and pre-industrial activity. Biographical notes. 2 bibl. ref.
