Abstract (English)

Jacob writes on the genesis of this project gathering 29 Central European photographers and describes the daily difficulties in obtaining photographic materials and processes in their respective countries. Zelevansky writes a brief history of photography in these countries and how it influences the artists presented here. Biographical notes.
