Abstract (English)

This catalogue documents four exhibitions of photography on themes concerning rural North and South Carolinas. Bloom's introduction makes the case for a particular, authentic culture shared by the Carolinas, while Edgerton weaves a fictive tale inspired by Amberg's photographs. Amberg himself writes autobiographical anecdotes. Biographical notes.
