Abstract (English)

In conversation with Fleming, Lum discusses the image/text relationship and addresses the issues of subjectivity and intent in his 1994 diptych series. Rhodes situates the artist's oeuvre within a postmodern return to the tradition of portraiture, establishing the shift from Warhol's approach to the genre.
