Abstract (English)
An exhibition catalogue, documenting printmaking workshops occupied with publishing or printing editions by independant artists. The essays trace the development of these establishments in Southern Canada, as well as the influence of a similar evolution in Europe and the United States. A focus on the collaborative aspects of printmaking is made, involving both artist and master printer. Short descriptions of the printshops accompany illustrations of work produced there. 17 bibl. ref.
