Abstract (English)

The authors look at Beuys's activities and those of artists and students who worked with him between 1962 and 1972 in the context of the School of Fine Arts in Düsseldorf. The artist's "broad concept of art", his influence as a teacher and the theoretical and social implications of his ideas and works are analyzed. Brief essays outline the aesthetic concerns of artists who collaborated with Beuys. Biographical notes. 11 bibl. ref.
