The first major juried exhibition presented by Visual Arts Nova Scotia marks its ten-year anniversary as an organization. Works by 49 Nova Scotia artists (members) are included. The essay by Townsend-Gault briefly outlines Maritime art history, and accounts for the widely diverse regional art scene. Biographical notes.
