Abstract (English)

Publication to accompany an exhibition comprised of works by seven Canadian artists who consistently use the colour blue. In outlining the curatorial method used in the exhibition, Sowiak suggests that colour is a “fundamental means through which an artist can tell a story.” Her interpretation of the paintings, photographs and sculptures in the show underlines the social, material, psychological and cultural references within the works.
