Hong Kong Art : Culture and DecolonizationTools Clarke, David. Hong Kong Art : Culture and Decolonization. Durham, NC: Duke University Press, 2002.
Abstract (English)This book comprehensively surveys contemporary art in Hong Kong from the late 1960s to 2000, paying particular attention to the manner in which the social and political context of the reversion of Hong Kong from British to Chinese rule was reflected in the cultural production of the time. Clark argues that it is in this period that Hong Kong art achieves its own sovereignty. Index of personal and place names. Bibliography, 5 p. Circa 120 bibl. ref. Edit this item (login required): |
