Abstract (English)

“TRANSlinear” presents the results of an engaged consideration of contemporary painting practice, within Canada and without. Holubizky emphasizes a textual-narrative reading of the paintings in the exhibition. Moss unlocks an understanding of contemporary painting through an episode in the career of Philip Guston.
