Abstract (English)

Quoting an excerpt from “Plato’s cave” as an epigraph, Domino sets up an analogy with Pien’s drawings, which overrun the space and transform it into a theatre alive with monsters and grotesque characters. Describing his impressions as a viewer visiting the installation, the author brings out the artist’s influences and elaborates on his working methods. Texts in English and French; 4 bibl. ref.

Citant en exergue un extrait du texte de Platon sur la caverne, Domino créé une analogie avec les dessins de Pien qui envahissent l'espace et le transforment en théâtre animé de monstres et de personnages grotesques.
