Abstract (English)

In the work of the four artists presented here, curator Salzman identifies a development originating from minimalism and conceptualism. His discussion focuses on various ways this work maintains an affiliation with a more classical tradition, avoiding purely formalist and functionalist tendencies. The result is, "a dynamic potentiality" in pieces that allow a space between concept and materialization, experience and interpretation. Critical texts on each of the artists. Biographical notes. Bibl. 2 p.
